This class is for those individuals who qualify under the State of Texas Statutes to be eligible to carry a concealed handgun.
The course provides a minimum of ten hours of training which consists of classroom discussions and a shooting proficiency test. The shooting proficiency test may be taken with a pistol (semi-automatic handgun) or a revolver (non semi-automatic handgun).
It should be noted that if the shooting proficiency test is completed with a semi-automatic handgun, either a semi-automatic or non semi-automatic handgun may be carried. If the test is taken with a non semi-automatic handgun, only a non semi-automatic handgun may be carried.
